Aux J.0 2012 de Londres, pour la première fois dans l'histoire olympique la boxe féminine fait son entrée dans la compétition officielle, peu de gens savent pourtant que le 4ème rang mondial est tenu par l'Inde. Dans un pays où la domination masculine est encore légion et où les mouvances traditionalistes connaissent un regain d'intérêt inquiétant, où les infanticides de filles perdurent, près d'un millier de femmes tentent à leur manière de combattre les stéréotypes liés à l'image et au rôle de la femme dans la société indienne en essayant de se faire une place dans le monde de la boxe.

At the London 2012 Olympic Games, for the first time in Olympic history, women's boxing is entering the official competition, but few people know that the 4th place in the world is held by India. In a country where male domination is still legion and where the traditionalist movements are experiencing a worrying revival, where the female infanticide persist, nearly a thousand women are trying in their own way to fight stereotypes related to the image. and the role of women in Indian society in trying to find a place in the world of boxing.
